The images in this gallery grew out of a floral centerpiece left behind at my daughter's wedding that took place at my home in the country. I thought it would grow more interesting with time so waited several months then took it into my studio to photograph. It did not disappoint. The powerful dynamics of these "dead" flowers initiated an intense thought process about what is "Still Life" and what is really happening after death. It culminated in a one-man show titled "Still Life... is still life".
